On the timing belt, how many teeth can a single sprocket be off by before valve damage occurs? Mine jumped 4 teeth on driver's side intake/exhaust (can't tell as only took off one cover). Driver's side cylinder bank is dead. All 3. Car hasn't driven since it happened, only revved it a few times and let it idle for 5 mins while I was trying to diagnose why engine was running bad. I'm asking because if there is little chance of valve damage, I'll go out in the cold and redo the belt. If there's a high chance of valve damage, I'm not bothering with it and will leave it be.
